Matthew Nancekievill

Matthew has developed a wide variety of robotic platforms, including submersible and ground-based platforms. He has also completed robotic deployments throughout the UK and as far afield as Japan! This experience enables him to understand the full process of robotic development, right from ideas to “boots-on-the-ground” deployments”. 

Having completed a PhD in robotics at the University of Manchester, and many years as a PDRA, Matthew is now a keen entrepreneur, applying his robotics expertise in development of products from University to commercial system. He has won multiple grants to further the development of Ice Nine Ltd and is currently a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow.
