Zhengyi Jiang

Zhengyi Jiang is an avid robotics developer, with a focus on deploying robots into extreme environments to perform dirty or dangerous tasks in place of humans.  His work is grounded in robot reliability and data integrity.

Zhengyi holds a PhD in Robotics and, following his graduation, spent years developing robotic platforms for the inspection of offshore wind farms and nuclear decommissioning sites. Zhengyi joined Ice Nine in May 2024 and has worked on projects ranging from automated radioisotope production, UAVs and automated quadrupeds.
