Liam studied for a Masters in Mechatronic Engineering and his PhD focused on the development of Pipe crawler robotic systems at the University of Manchester.
During his Post-doctoral research, he developed a shape-shifting autonomous drone, capable of inspecting large cavernous regions below critical infrastructure. He now develops a range of robotic platforms for the inspection and characterisation of critical assets including aquatic, aerial and ground robots.
